How is DoDeewane different from Zola, The Knot or Joy?

They build your wedding website and collect RSVPs. DoDeewane plans every function behind them: the budget, the run of show, hotels, outfits and who is doing what. Keep Zola, Joy or Appy Couple for your website, and bring their RSVP export into DoDeewane so your headcounts stay in one place.

We already have a wedding planner. Do we still need DoDeewane?

It makes working with your planner easier. Invite your planner into your wedding, and you both work from the same plan instead of email and WhatsApp. Your planner can hand you tasks, and you see what is waiting on you each time you log in.

Can we invite guests to some functions and not others?

Yes. Each family is invited function by function, and RSVPs, party size and meal choices are kept for each one. The caterer for the mehndi gets the mehndi headcount, not the reception's, and children are counted separately for catering.

Can our parents and siblings help without seeing everything?

Yes. Each parent or sibling gets their own login and sees only what you open to them, by feature and by function. They can own their own tasks, so everyone helping knows exactly what is theirs to do.

Most of our guests are flying in. Does DoDeewane handle hotels?

Yes. Add your hotels and room blocks, assign guests to rooms, and mark which rooms you are paying for and which guests pay their own. You can track welcome bags to each room and see at a glance who still has no stay booked.

Both families are paying. Can we split the budget?

Yes. Each budget line can name who is paying, the couple or either family, and one cost can be split across several payers. You see what each side has paid so far and what is still due.

Does DoDeewane help with outfits, the India shopping trip and food?

Yes. Plan what each person wears to each function, and plan the India shopping trip day by day with shops and appointments. Shopping costs can be tracked in rupees and roll into your budget in dollars. Menus and tastings for each meal sit in the same plan.

Is our information private?

Yes. There is no advertising on DoDeewane, and we do not sell or rent personal data. You decide what goes into your wedding, including your guest list, and we hold it for you.
